Sanoma Corporation, Press Release, 10 September 2012 at 13:00 CET+1
In the last three years, Nelonen Media's Liv channel has strengthened its position as the leading lifestyle channel. Based on the success story of the TV channel, Liv is being transformed into a multimedia lifestyle brand in cooperation with Ilta-Sanomat and other Sanoma units.
"Together with different Sanoma media, we can offer Finland's best lifestyle content through TV, print, web and radio. At the same time, we will create new models for sharing content," says Anu Nissinen, CEO of Sanoma Media Finland.
“Liv channel's entertaining lifestyle programming is diverse, fresh and rich in experiences. The channel has introduced several new faces on Finnish TV, who have found their place as interesting lifestyle experts. We have an excellent opportunity to build a diverse, appealing package around Liv content in different Sanoma media”, says Kristiina Werner-Autio, Senior Vice President of TV operations at Nelonen Media.
Ilta-Sanomat will launch a lifestyle-related Iltasanomat.fi/liv site and a new, magnificent lifestyle package will start to appear in Ilta-Sanomat on a daily basis.
"Ilta-Sanomat is capable of providing the Liv brand with very significant visibility. We hope that the cooperation will give us interesting new content for the female target group," says Ulla Appelsin, Editor-in-Chief of Ilta-Sanomat
