Sanoma Media Belgium has signed an agreement to manage nine additional regional radio channels in the Belgian provinces Antwerp and Flemish-Brabant. As a result, Story FM is extending its coverage to both provinces.
Story FM is the first radio channel of Sanoma Media Belgium. Last year Sanoma Media announced its intention to extend its market leading position in the Flemish magazine market with other media. The company made a significant first step by participating in the SBS Belgium TV channels Vier and Vijf. Additionally, Sanoma Media launched Story FM.
Story FM has a close kinship to Story magazine. The radio channel meets the demand for local music by broadcasting more than 60% of music from local artists. This is complemented with a daily dose of showbiz news, made and presented by Story’s editorial team in Antwerp. Next to being present in the city of Antwerp, Story FM is now available in the provinces Antwerp and Flemish-Brabant.
