Sanoma has published its first Corporate Responsibility Report, which summarises key developments in 2010 and defines the Group's corporate responsibility framework. The Corporate Responsibility Report is available in pdf format at Sanoma.com, the Materials section.

To prepare for the report and develop the corporate responsibility in general, a study was carried out in the autumn of 2010. Sanoma's management, personnel and external stakeholders were asked to share their opinions on corporate responsibility at Sanoma. They were also asked to present issues to which we should pay special attention.

The results show that in media and learning, which are our strategic focus areas, responsibility must be an essential part of daily operations. Issues related to employee well-being, competence development and the environment were regarded as particularly important, as was our responsibility for the content we produce.

The next Corporate Responsibility Report is planned for 2013.
