Parallel to Sanoma’s reorganisation of its Finnish media operations, Sanoma Magazines Finland is revamping its own organisation. As of 1 October, Finland’s leading magazine publisher will consist of the following units: Magazines, Comics, Books & Digital Products, Publishing Services, Consumer Sales, Media Sales, and Finance, Technology & HR.Editorial Director Riitta Pollari has been appointed Publisher. As the head of the Magazines Unit she will be responsible for magazines’ editorial teams and content development, and magazine-related brand communications and business development.Publishing Director Ulla Leppä has also been appointed Publisher. She will be responsible for the Comics, Books and Digital Products Unit, which publishes comics and books for children and juvenile readers, and develops Sanoma Magazines Finland´s digital products and services.Director, Strategy Petri Karjalainen has been appointed Director, Publishing Services.
