World Vision Finland and R-kioski, a part of the Sanoma Group, organised a campaign to support a clean water project in Kalpitiya, Sri Lanka. The successful campaign raised a sum of EUR 15,000 for the project.

In the campaign five water canisters were circulated all over Finland from one R-kioski to another. During the summer, over a hundred Finns participated in transporting the canisters. The route of the water canisters was followed also in Facebook.

For every new R-kioski that was visited by one of the five water canisters, R-kioski donated 100 euros for the water project. The funds will be used to build a environmentally friendly water utility to the village of Minniya.

"It is great to be able to participate in the good cause through our vast kiosk network. We wish to thank our customers and personnel for the successful campaign," says brand and concept manager Teemu Rissanen from Rautakirja.

R-kioski is a part of the Sanoma Group's Sanoma Trade division.
