Karel Das (1961), Drs. Business Economics and Administration and Executive Master of Finance & Control, has been appointed Chief Finance Officer in Sanoma Learning & Literature. Karel will take over responsibilities from the present CFO, Barend de Graaff.
Karel Das has a long and versatile experience in fields of finance. For the last ten years he has worked for Sanoma Magazines Belgium, currently as Chief Financial Officer. Before that he has worked as a financial controller at Brabant Pers BV (The Netherlands), Malmberg BV and Sanoma Magazines Prague (Czech Republic).
Chief Finance Officer Karel Das will report to CEO Jacques Eijkens and he will be a member of the SLL Management Board. He will assume the new position before the end of 2010.
