Daily newspaper Helsingin Sanomat and the cable TV and broadband operator Welho have launched in co-operation the largest Finnish online TV guide. TVNyt.fi service offers programme information of over hundred channels and is accessible through newspaper's online site HS.fi, for example.
With new channels and increased programming, finding the TV shows one is interested in has become increasingly time consuming. TVNyt.fi service eases the everyday life of its users by offering different possibilities for categorising programmes. The views are similar to those used in Finnish digital TV. TVNyt.fi can be accessed from Welho.fi as well. In addition, the TV guide is published in printed format as an supplement to Helsingin Sanomat's weekly edition NYT.
