SanomaWSOY Corporation's share capital has increased by EUR 136,229.16 corresponding to 316,812 new shares due to 292,462 shares subscribed with 2001A stock options and 24,350 shares subscribed with 2001B stock options.

The increase of share capital was entered into the Trade Register on 3 January 2008 and the trading with the new shares begins on 4 January 2008.

In total, SanomaWSOY's share capital increased from EUR 71,121,910.56 to EUR 71,258,139.72 and the number of shares increased from 165,399,792 to 165,716,604.

For the new shares subscribed with stock options all shareholder rights commence from the date on which the increase in share capital is entered into the Trade Register. SanomaWSOY announced the Warrant Scheme 2001 on 31 January 2002.

SanomaWSOY informed about the previous increase in share capital on 8 November 2007.
