Sanoma Hearst Romania has launched Marie Claire, the international women's magazine in Romania. Marie Claire has 29 international editions in 15 languages, with more than 15 million readers worldwide. From April 2008 onwards, the Romanian edition will be amongst them.

Marie Claire offers a unique mix of beauty and fashion sections with in-depth stories about local or international social problems. Marie Claire is the fashion magazine with substance and personality for women with a definite sense of style. The first edition of the Romanian Marie Claire has more than 220 pages, with a print-run of 45,000 copies and a cover price of RON 4.9 (EUR 1.36).


"Marie Claire is the most important project of Sanoma Hearst Romania for the first half of this year. This new magazine, but also our significant turnover growth in 2007, will help us become the market leader in Romanian magazine publishing in 2008," says Theodor Manolache, Publisher at Sanoma Hearst Romania. "Marie Claire Romania is the magazine that completes our glossy women's magazine portfolio. Sanoma Hearst Romania publishes the Romanian editions of the international publications Harper's BAZAAR, Esquire, Cosmopolitan, Beau Monde, National Geographic, FHM and also Mami, Femeia., Casa si Gradina, Story and Femeia de Azi.
