News Agency Startel, part of Taloussanomat and Sanoma Business Services, has made an agreement to distribute news in cooperation with the international financial information producer and distributor Reuters.
According to Mr Juhani Pekkala, President of Taloussanomat, the cooperation with Reuters is an important step to News Agency Startel. "The agreement brings us a new distribution channel as well as new business opportunities and emphasizes Startel's significance as the leading Finnish financial news agency," Pekkala says.
Reuters' Nordic operations Manager Mitya New says that the distribution agreement strengthens Reuters' position as the leading real-time content producer in the Nordic countries and opens up new sales possibilities.
Taloussanomat is a financial daily and part of Sanoma, the newspaper division of the SanomaWSOY Group.
