Finnkino opened on April 10, 2007 its third movie theatre in Lithuania. Located in the Akropolis shopping mall in the Kaunas city-centre, the cinema complex with 7 screens increases Finnkino's operations in the Baltic States with 1,370 seats.

Finnkino opened yesterday a modern 7-screen cinema complex in Kaunas, Lithuania. The business is run by Finnkino's Lithuanian subsidiary UAB Forum Cinemas which has two other cinema complexes in Vilnius. The newest location for a Finnkino cinema, Kaunas is Lithuania's second largest city with some 400,000 inhabitants.

Finnkino now has a total of 5,256 seats in Lithuania. The company operates movie theatres in six locations in the Baltic States: Tallinn, Narva, Tartu, Riga, Vilnius, and Kaunas.
