Desperate Housewives starting on Nelonen during autumn won two Golden Globes. The series was awarded in the category of Best television series - musical or comedy and Teri Hatcher, one of the actresses, won Golden Globe for Best performance by an actress in a television series - musical or comedy.
Ian McShane won the prize for Best performance by an actor in a television series - drama. He has the main role in Nelonen's new series Deadwood.
