Lehtikuva Oy acquires full ownership of Compad Oy

Lehtikuva Oy has on 19.4.2002 purchased 40% of the shares of Compad Oy. After the purchase Lehtikuva Oy owns 100% of the shares of Compad Oy. Lehtikuva Oy bought the first 60% of the company's shares in February 2001.

Compad Oy is the market leader of the sales of royalty free pictures in Finland. The acquisition is a part of Lehtikuva´s strategy with which Lehtikuva aims at offering its customers the best possible solution to their different illustration needs. Prior to the acquisition royalty free pictures were not a part of Lehtikuva's selection of products.

Lehtikuva Oy belongs to the Sanoma Group which is a division of the SanomaWSOY Group.
