SanomaWSOY's updated Internet site was launched on June 19. The site has been completely revised to provide a better service and user experience for all visitors, both external and internal.

In addition to a comprehensive overview of the products and services produced within SanomaWSOY, the updated site also includes a number of new features. These include an online magazine, Echo, which will feature news on the latest developments within the Group, as well as on developments affecting the media industry around Europe. Echo's media news, provided by Sanoma's Esmerk business information unit, is updated daily.

The site's completely new visual identity has been designed to provide a clean, easy-to-use interface; and the site's structure has been simplified to make navigation more intuitive.

The site has been developed by SanomaWSOY's Investor Relations & Group Communications Department together with SWelcom's Internet specialist, Verkkovoima. The new is built around a Verkkovoima-developed platform that will make updating and developing the site quick and easy. Additional new features planned for the near future included a Flash-based sequence on SanomaWSOY's history and more information on job opportunities within the Group.
