After a hugely successful year for Fashionchick, Sanoma Media Netherlands is expanding its interest to 55%. The media company already owned 25% of the shares.Last year, the turnover growth of Fashionchick was 32%, of which a substantial part was generated by its international activities in France, Germany, the US and the UK. An important goal for 2013 is to continue to strengthen the company’s market positions in these countries and to target further international expansion.For 2013, Fashionchick expects to achieve at least the same level of growth as in 2012.InnovationsBesides its international expansion, Fashionchick innovates in various areas, such as in the improved usability of the Fashionchick user interface, the iPhone and iPad apps, and the collection of Fashionchick pumps and accessories.
