Sanoma Uitgevers discontinues Mind Magazine. The final issue will be published in August as the magazine does not show sufficient profit potential. The magazine was launched in the Netherlands in 2007 as a glossy monthly magazine about psychology with stories about self awareness, relationships and societal issues.
Sanoma Uitgevers' COO Print Henk Scheenstra expresses his regret that Mind Magazine has not succeeded in today's competitive market. He states that everybody involved has worked hard to make Mind Magazine successful and to improve the results, but the magazine is structurally staying behind its target and long term improvement is not in sight.
