Margriet, one of the most popular Dutch women's weeklies will be reborn tomorrow, 24 July 2009.

The magazine has gone through a total design revamp: a new cover, new typography, new logo and new style of photography. And the changes do not stop to there – the magazine will increase its pages to 124 every week and bring in new columnists and other new features, including The Hart, which is a 24-page book full of human interest articles included in the magazine.

"We want to give an energetic and positive signal to both our readers and advertisers. Margriet is doing relatively well in the current tumultuous market and we may rejoice over a large group of loyal readers and advertisers. To reward that loyalty Margriet wants to offer them even more," explains Editor Leontine van den Jaspers. "The faith and confidence in Margriet remains high. And this means that future-oriented investments should be made."

Margriet is published by Sanoma Uitgevers, the Dutch magazine company of the Sanoma Group.
