Independent Media Sanoma Magazines has decided to close the weekly magazine Gloria in Russia. The last issue of Gloria will be published on 19 February.
The decision to close Gloria fits the strategy of Independent Media Sanoma Magazines to strengthen its magazines activities by focusing on the core brands. At this stage Gloria would need substantially more investments to develop, which in the current economic conditions and uncertain market situation is not the focus of Independent Media Sanoma Magazines.
