Dutch based Sanoma Men's Magazines (SMM) acquires a majority holding in Belegger.nl B.V. This extends SMM's portfolio to personal finance. Together with Sanoma Magazines, Belegger.nl will become the biggest investment platform of the Benelux.
Belegger.nl B.V. contains four websites: www.belegger.nl, www.beursduivel.be, www.marketadvices.com, and www.voetbalnext.nl. The sites reach more than 300,000 unique visitors a month.
"Growth through adding new domains to our portfolio is in line with our future vision. Belegger.nl enables us a perfect online entry onto the personal finance market. We already took a first step to that market through our print edition Lucratief, that has a circulation of 100,000 copies," says Auke Visser, CEO of SMM.
Also Matthijs Kanis, the founder of Belegger.nl, is delighted with the agreement: "With Sanoma Magazines we have found a perfect partner. The planned investments in marketing and editorial office will speed up our multimedia growth within the Benelux tremendously."
