The Finnish bookstore chain Suomalainen Kirjakauppa will begin a loyal customer program in January 2005. Customer who register themselves in the program will get more individual services, recognition, and naturally also special offers on books.

Suomalainen Kirjakauppa has years already offered its customers a possibility to pre-order books before the Book sales in February. This year these customers will also receive information package on the new loyal customer program. Suomalainen Kirjakauppa aims also to lure new loyal customer from active readers during the spring 2005.

- We wish to engage book lovers even more tightly to Suomalainen Kirjakauppa as well as increase their visit in our stores and www.suomainen.com, explains Pirjo Purovesi, Marketing Manager of Suomalainen Kirjakauppa.

In the loyal customer program, participants receive a membership letter 6-7 times a year, special events with writer guest are arranged four times a year and later they will be rewarded according to their purchases. - We want to reward the really active readers, Purovesi says.

In the future, members of the program will be able to participate in theme holidays and other events. They are also offered signed exemplars as well as special prices on Suomalainen Kirjakauppa's partners products and services.
