SanomaWSOY applies for listing of the 2001A warrants on the main list of the Helsinki Exchanges

SanomaWSOY Corporation applies for listing of the 2001A warrants on the main list of the Helsinki Exchanges as of 1 November 2004.

The total number of 2001A warrants is 625,600. Each 2001A warrant entitles its holder to subscribe for one SanomaWSOY Corporation Series B share. In total, the 2001A warrants entitle holders to subscribe for 625,600 Series B shares. The present share subscription price with 2001A warrants is EUR 10.83/share. The annual dividend will be deducted from the subscription price.

The share subscription period for 2001A warrants will begin on 1 November 2004 and end on 30 November 2007.
