According to the study Advertising Year 2003 ordered from TNS Gallup by the National Advertising Council, the growth in television advertising was 3.0% last year.

The growth was led by Nelonen increasing its media sales by 15%. Its share in television advertising grew by almost three percentage points to 27.3% (24.7% in 2002).

- Television's role among the media is growing all the time as more and more time is spent watching TV. The reason for our growth in advertising sales is that Nelonen reaches the target groups that are most interesting for the advertisers, says Hans Edin, Marketing Manager at Nelonen.
