Insinööriliitto IL ry - the Union of Professional Engineers in Finland - has decided to offer to its active members the Finnish financial newspaper Taloussanomat's Saturday edition as of 1 September 2002. The offer includes also taloussanomat.fi internet service.

The subscription volume of the Saturday papers to be ordered as membership benefits will be some 33.000 papers in the beginning of the subscription period. "Following this contract Taloussanomat's Saturday circulation will increase to around 70.000", says Martti Ojares, President of Startel Oy. Taloussanomat's Saturday edition had a circulation of 40.019 in 2001.

"We want to offer to our members a high quality financial newspaper, that offers timely and versatile financial information and news ", says Matti Viljanen, Executive Manager of Insinööriliitto.
