SanomaWSOY's location-based solution provider, Genimap Oy, and TietoEnator Forest have developed a new type of geographic data service to meet the needs of the forest products industry in Finland and internationally.
The integrated GIS solution utilises real-time access to geographic data and includes digital mapping data, GI software, and special software required by the forest industry, agriculture, and forestry. The new service will improve forest products companies' ability to handle their timber acquisition and conservation area data, and manage their production facilities worldwide.
