Media portfolio
Our magazine portfolio contains some 25 titles. They inspire and inform women and men of all ages. They are rooted in local values, appeal to readers’ interests and connect them in communities of like-minded people.
Sanoma Media Belgium owns 19 sites online. Each site has its own mission and target group. The company also has successful non-title-related sites in its portfolio: zappybaby.be, a website that focuses on young parents, and style guide styletoday.be.
Since 2003, Sqills is the custom publishing unit of Sanoma Media. The department specializes in the development of full magazines for customers. Sqills provides strategic advice, creative ideas and produces custom made magazines. In addition, they provide a fresh perspective, for both existing and new magazines, web content and cross-media partnerships for any audience: B2B, B2C, your own staff or charity.
Media Sanoma Belgium is also active in the field of niche publications through EPN International.
Sanoma Media Belgium has alliances with external partners:
- 50% joint venture with Marie Claire Album (Paris) for Marie Claire Belgique, and with Marie Claire VOF Nederland for the Flemish edition of Marie Claire
- A licensing agreement with VMMa (TV channel Vitaya) for publishing a magazine called Vitaya Magazine
- A share of 33.3 in DE VIJVER, owner of HUMO NV, Desert Fishes (Woenstijnvis) and SBS Belgium (VT4 and VijfTV)
